My fashion head turned to colour this month with the release of new colour techniques for Hari’s. I have made up big boards of all my inspirations with a mish-mash of old and new ideas. My starting point was a 1996 Annie Morton shoot by Juergen Teller, which I adore, mixed with my ‘colour crushes’ (actresses and models whose colour I have a crush on). These inspirations were sent out with the press releases to entice the beauty press.
Pantone – the world authority on colour – has released their colour of the year: Mimosa, a warm engaging yellow. My private room is decorated with frames in all shapes and sizes and I’ve added touches of Mimosa. I love working with my favourite images from films and fashion shoots around me. Clients love to look at them and designers I work with bring me images to fill the frames.
