Stylish salon interiors from around the world

Taylor Taylor, Cheshire Street, London

Crystal beads, champagne cocktails and Chanel-esque wallpaper – there’s no denying Taylor Taylor salon owner, Bradley Taylor, knows a thing or two about recreating a Parisian boudoir in East End London.

Refurbished late last year to tie in with the brand’s flagship salon in Commercial Street, while the Cheshire Street site may be smaller, its deluxe design speaks volumes. It even has an outdoor cutting area to satisfy the more cosmopolitan clients in the area.

“The inspiration for the look is a combination of Miami Art Deco fused with French boudoir boutique,” explains one half of the salon management team, Dany Mikhael. “The garden and outside summer styling station, and the wall of crystal beads along the reception, both give the salon a bespoke and chic edge.”

Drew Foster, co-manager and art director, believes the salon services and illustrious location also go a long way to attracting a varied client base. “We offer a 1950s bespoke hair setting called the Glamour Set and we’re just off the vibrant Brick Lane, so it’s almost like a hidden jewel.”
