Rudy Mostarda’s salon comprises sharp metallic style under the roof of a fashionable establishment!
With brushed black flooring, beige curtains and a sleek finish throughout, the Rudy Mostarda salon interior works in perfect harmony, complementing the cool colours of steel and iron which adorn the space.
Based in Rancia in Northern Italy, owner Rudy Mostarda aims to create a speical identity for his salon, by combining cosmetics and fashion with hair services. “I wanted the salon to have a unique, chic and personal impact,” he says.
On first glance, the salon appears minimalist, but details such as the jagged shaped mirrors, burnished iron and polished aluminium, stop the salon from looking unfurnished.
A neutral colour palette is shot with a a deep crimson leather sofa, while textured pieces such as the brown marble effect of the reception which curves around the salon, adds interest and warmth.
An elegant chandelier with gold trimming acts as the focal point, sitting high above an metallic styling table. Matching styling chairs reflect the light that warms the room, while the exotic rare plants inject a subtle but effective touch to the décor. All furniture is from the Excel Hira and Magma ranges.
