I was at Berlin Fashion Week recently and I came across this fragrance in a fantastic store called The Corner. A collaboration between Comme des Garçons and Jun Takahashi, the perfume is based on Jun’s handmade stuffed toy and is made up of purple ginger, mandarin, rhubarb and pepper. It is going to be my summer fragrance.

Byredo – Mister Marvelous
Ben Gorman, Byredo’s founder, has created his new scent Mister Marvelous. One of his more interesting scents, Mister Marvelous is a beautiful balance of mandarin leaf, neroli, green lavender, black amber and white cedarwood. I really really love this scent and reckon that you might too.
Guerlain Cruel Gardenia
On a recent trip to Paris, I went to the Guerlain shop on the Champs Elysées, one of my favourite shops in the world. I discovered a scent that was first introduced in 2008 named Cruel Gardenia. Gardenia is one of my all time favourite scents and smelling it mixed with damask rose and neroli, it really has the strength and power that is true to this delicate flower. Guerlain describe it as an arrow directed at your heart that stays there forever, and I could not agree more.

I have loved this scent ever since I was a child, when I was given it to clear headaches! The bottle is as amazing as the contents and it’s great at removing hair colour from the skin. I always have a bottle in my bag just in case!
